What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a safe and effective, nonsurgical procedure that uses tiny needles to deliver serums deeper into the skin. This revolutionary skin treatment can stimulate collagen production and help create radiant-looking skin. This treatment can either be done with one of our serums or with one’s own platelet-rich plasma (PRP).
What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma or PRP has been used for years for healing purposes. It is a natural product in the blood created from one’s own body to help the tissue to heal. When used in cosmetic procedures, it acts as a matrix that promotes the body’s own tissue to regenerate.
How It Works:
Our centrifuge device separates the components of one’s own blood. Red and white blood cells are separated from the platelets and the plasma. Once the platelet rich plasma is separated, it is injected into to the area to trigger the body’s natural healing process. This will have an instant rejuvenation effect to give the patient a more youthful and vibrant look.
The Plasma Lift:
Lift md PRP incorporates Microneedling with platelet rich plasma and Juvederm, a dermal filler made of stabilized hyaluronic acid.
After separating one’s own platelets from the blood, they are then are injected using a special technique back into the area being treated. The platelets will activate and draw stem cells already inside the skin to the area, promoting the body’s own collagen to grow and regenerate tissue. This treatment naturally tightens the appearance of skin, soften wrinkles and creates smoother skin tone and texture. It also helps to reduce brown spots, acne scars or just dull & tired skin.
PRP Injections:
PRP injections are platelet-rich plasma injected directly to a specific area to promote the growth of collagen and regenerate the tissue, creating a smoother, tighter, rejuvenated appearance.
PRP for Hair Rejuvenation:
PRP is also now used as a treatment for hair loss conditions. It involves separating one’s own platelets and injecting it into the scalp. The PRP contains essential proteins to stimulate natural hair regrowth.
